Airtime allows customers to access Orange service offerings which include voice, data, SMS and VAS services. Customer need to have sufficient airtime balance in order to subscribe to these services.
Airtime allows customers to access Orange service offerings which include voice, data, SMS and VAS services. Customer need to have sufficient airtime balance in order to subscribe to these services.
Orange airtime can be available from the following channels;
Orange Money: Customer can use their Orange Money credit to purchase airtime. Customer needs to dial *145# in order to access Orange Money and select Airtime option to purchase airtime. Airtime purchased through the Orange Money channels is credited with bonus on-net airtime up to 100% depending on the airtime value.
Electronic recharge: Customers can purchase airtime electronically from Orange shops as well as other authorised resellers. The airtime will be electronically credited to the customer’s number immediately after full payment. Electronic recharges can be done for any amount from P2 upwards.
Bank Recharge: Customer can buy airtime directly from their bank menu. The airtime will be charged from the customer’s bank account and credited to the customer’s number.
Voucher Recharge: Customer can also purchase airtime vouchers from available channels. The recharge code is sealed at the back of the voucher recharge. Available voucher denominations are: P10, P20, P50 and P100.
After purchasing airtime, Orange customers have an option to share their airtime with other Orange numbers.
The maximum airtime that can be shared per transaction is P100.
To share airtime, customers can send the following message to short code ‘155’: Send 72xxxxxx Pin Amount, where 72xxxxxx is the receiving number, Pin is the sender’s Pin code, and lastly the amount of airtime to be shared.
