The Shared data service is a data gifting feature where the main subscriber of a bundle is able to gift data to any Orange user. Data sharing is limited to the donor’s primary data allocation and excludes any bonus promotional data. Customers can only share data from their All My Internet balance

The minimum data that can be transferred is 100MB and maximum 3GB
Customers are allowed to transfer data 3 times per day

Tems & Conditions

The Shared data service is available to Orange subscribers only. To both prepaid and postpaid customers.
The Shared data service is available on the following channels
- USSD *148#
Customer can only shared data from their All My Internet balance
The minimum data that can be transferred is 100MB and maximum 3GB
Customers are allowed to transfer data 3 times per day
Only customers with minimum 500MB of non-promotional All My Internet data will be able to use the service.
Data that has been shared cannot be transferred
Data that has been transferred cannot be withdrawn/reversed/taken back
The Shared data balance can be used for all internet usage
The below transfer cost will be applied as per volume shared. All costs advertised are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise stated.

The transfer cost shall be assumed by the purchaser.
Upon expiry of Shared data as per the service plan table, any remaining data balance will be forfeited.
If the data recipient owes Mpharanyetsa data from Orange, they can still benefit from the data gift while they still have an outstanding data loan.
