Shop Supervisor

Reporting to the Direct and Controlled Channels Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of the day-to-day operations of the Orange Botswana store, including sales, staff, stock, and resources management.



The main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Organize daily team briefings for efficient goal-setting and strategy planning.
  • Ensure that the shop reaches sales and customer service targets assigned.
  • Ensure Orange shop staff adhere to company processes and code of conduct.
  • Manage staff and functions.
  • Deliver sales objectives/ targets as set out for the shop.
  • Ensure that the team always delivers the best customer service.
  • Maintain high standards in the Mystery Shopper KPIs.
  • Check the shop regularly to ensure it meets standards, with daily floor walks and monthly mystery shopping reviews.
  • Ensure cleanliness in all areas including stock room, sales floor, and kitchen.
  • Coordinate with marketing to get up-to-date merchandise info and posters for store displays.
  • Ensure the shop team follows the dress code and arrives on time.
  • Ensure that the schedule for the shop is strictly adhered to without any deviations.
  • Contribute to team performance assessments.
  • Manage teams through motivation and encourage synergy between the various actors.
  • Assess staff, take responsibility for their professional growth, and implement personalized or group skill development plans.

  • Computer literate (MS Office).
  • Extremely trustworthy.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Business or Marketing.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in people management, stock and cash management, and general shop operations.
  • Experience working in the telecommunication industry is an added advantage.
