Senior Business Performance Analyst
Reporting to the Strategy, Performance & Transformation Director. The incumbent will be responsible for providing business reporting, analysis, and insights through the design, implementation, and management of organisation wide business big data systems. Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect, ingest, transform, and analyze data to uncover insights for business decision-making.
The main duties include but are not limited to:
- Define a set of regular business dashboards and ad-hoc business reports
- Manage the design, implementation, and update of automated business KPI dashboards, reports and ad-hoc business reports
- Provide insightful recommendations to optimize main business KPIs
- Ensure the accuracy of business reports provided to stakeholders
- Ensure timely delivery of business reports
- Automate & avail frequent ad-hoc reports in the BI platform
- Ensure BI platform availability to end users and continually improve the quality of data source systems, processes and standards.
- Proactively identify inconsistent data trends and produce periodic recon reports between source systems & BI platform
- Ensure automation of Key management KPI's for all department through visualized dashboards
- Recommends process improvement for BI initiatives [data recon, dashboards design] and proactively communicate to stakeholders on system unavailability, planned work.
- Integration of new business services and data flows
- Put in place controls that can highlight any risk in revenue trends that might possibly impact yearly revenue projections and communicate deviation to management and Business Intelligence team.

- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Hive
- Excellent knowledge of database technologies and querying languages (SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Oracle)
- Ability to derive insights using different statistical techniques and related software’s (SAS, R)
- Working proficiency in Data analysis & Visualization tools such as Power BI, SaS etc.
- Project Management skills
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems / Business Intelligence / Data Analytics and Science
- 5 years’ experience in a data analytics environment with emphasize in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics / Big Data.
- Professional Certifications in relevant big data technologies and data analysis will be an advantage.
