Collection of payments through Orange Money will reduce foot traffic at BEC offices and their staff will now concentrate on their core duties.
BEC will enjoy added security as they will no longer hold large sums of cash on their premises received from customers paying in cash.
BEC has partnered with Orange Money to offer private candidates/students, who will be writing supplementary exams the ease and convenience of paying for their supplementary exams electronically through Orange Money.
Dial *145# and select Orange Money Transactions.
Input your Orange Money secret code.
Choose option 4 from the menu.
Pick option 2 – Botswana Examinations Council.
Enter your first name, then surname.
Enter the BEC application number you received online.
Input how many subjects you will be writing.
Verify details and confirm with your PIN.
You’ll get an SMS receipt showing successful payment.
