Orange Money Pick A Box

1.    The Orange Money Pick A Box game will run for six months

2.    These Terms and Conditions described herein are binding on both the Subscriber and Orange Money Botswana (Pty) Ltd (“Orange Money”). 

3.    Participation is open to all registered Orange Money customers who are aged 18 years and above, both new and existing

1.    A link will be shared with the customer via SMS.

2.    The customer will click the link and be redirected to the Web App gaming platform, where they must register to play.

3.    Upon successful registration, the customer is eligible to start playing.

4.    Each login requires One-Time-Pin (OTP) authentication to ensure security.

5.    Customers may purchase virtual coins by transferring funds from their own Orange Money wallet.

6.    Each play costs P2, and customers select one box from nine available boxes.

7.    The prize inside the selected box will be revealed immediately.

8.    Customers will also see the prizes hidden in the remaining eight boxes.

1.    Each participant can play once per game session for a chance to win a mystery prize. When the customer plays the game, not all picks guarantee a prize. In the event the customer plays and wins, they only know the details of the price once the box is opened hence the term ‘Mystery price’.  The mystery prize will either have data, airtime or Orange Money.

2.    A box may contain either money, data, or airtime, or be empty.

3.    If a selected box is empty, the participant does not win a prize, and the game ends.

4.    If a selected box contains a prize, the participant wins and the game ends.

5.    Participants can choose the "Play Again" option to continue playing for another chance.

6.    Prizes are credited directly into the customer's Orange Money Account upon winning.

7.    Winning customers will receive an SMS notification confirming their prize transaction.

• By participating in the game, the customer acknowledges that Orange Money may collect and process the following personal data:
  • Phone number (for account verification and prize credits)
  • Transaction data (to facilitate gameplay and prize distribution)
  • Device and login details (for security and fraud prevention)

• The data collected will be used only for game administration, fraud prevention, and compliance reporting and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except where required by law.

1. Customer data related to the Pick A Box game will be retained for six (6) months after the game ends and then securely deleted.
2. Participants may request deletion of their data after the campaign ends by contacting Orange Money Customer Service.

1. One Time Pin (OTP) authentication is used for secure login.
2. Transactions are processed through encrypted systems to prevent unauthorized access.
3. Fraud monitoring tools are in place to detect and prevent suspicious activities.

    • Contacting Orange Money Customer Service
  • Managing preferences via the Orange Botswana website

1. Orange Money Botswana reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this promotion at any time after notifying relevant authorities.
2. Any changes to the Terms & Conditions will be published on the Orange Botswana website.
