ICT & Corporate Sales Manager

The ICT Corporate Sales Manager will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing strategic sales initiatives to promote Orange Botswana’s ICT products and services, including networking, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and enterprise connectivity. The ideal candidate must possess strong sales management skills, a deep understanding of the Botswana ICT market, and a proven ability to lead a sales team to meet and exceed targets.


The main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the ICT sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team, and monitor progress regularly.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to penetrate new markets and sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct high-level negotiations and close major deals to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to develop tailored ICT solutions for clients.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and prepare detailed sales reports for senior management. 
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote Orange Botswana’s ICT offerings.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and training to the sales team to enhance their skills and performance. 
  • Ensure the sales team maintains accurate and up-to-date customer records and activity reports using CRM tools.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and loyalty through excellent service and support

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • A Master’s Degree in a related field will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in sales companies and B2B management experience in the field of telecommunications/ICT.
