3. Select [Change], press [Options], choose [New access point], follow the arrow and select [Use default settings].

5. Press [Options], select [Advanced settings]
6. Enter the following information: Network type : IPv4
   Phone IP address : Automatic
   Name server : Automatic
   Proxy serv. address : 10.0.0.226
   Proxy port number : 8080
   
7. Press [Back] two times .
8. To activate the profile, in the list, choose the created profile, Orange WAP GPRS and press [Options] > [Select].
   The profile is saved and activated.

1) Press [Menu]

2) Select [Browser] > [Profile settings]

3) Select a profile.

Enter the following information:

Profile name: Orange WAP GPRS
Home URL: http://botswana.airweb.fr/
Bearer: GPRS only

4) Activate the proxy and select [GPRS settings]. Enter the following information:

Proxy IP: 10.0.0.226
Proxy port: 8080

Password:

5) Press [Save] two times.

6) Press [Back] and select [Current profile]

7) In [Current profile], select the saved profile.
The new profile is saved and activated.

1) Press [Menu] and select [Settings]

2) Scroll down to [Connectivity] tab and select [Data comm.]

3) In [Data comm.] select [Data accounts] > [New account] (press [Add] )

4) Select [GPRS data] and enter the account's name, Orange WAP GPRS ( press [Continue] )

6) Press [Save]

7) Press the back key two times.

8) In [Connectivity], select [Internet settings] > [Internet profiles].

12) Press [Save]

13) Select the new profile and press [More] > [Settings]

17) Go back to the main menu with the back key, select [Internet services]

19) Select [New bookmark] (press [Add] )

22) Select the created bookmark and press [More]

Like most other cellphone models available these days, Chinese mobiles too, are capable of connecting to the Internet
via GPRS/EDGE. However, if your phone has GPRS support, it doesn't mean it will automatically connect when you want it to.
You have to activate the GPRS on your phone by entering the appropriate settings to it.

1. Call your network service provider, and request the representative to activate GPRS on your account. Ask for the appropriate GPRS settings that you have to enter into your phone.

2. Go to "Services" menu on your phone.

3. Select "Data Account."

4. Go to "GPRS."

5. Choose "Create/Edit Data Account."

6. Enter values for these parameters: account name, APN, username, password, proxy, security, bearer, and authentication and miscellaneous.

7. Save the profile after entering the settings. The GPRS will be activated on your phone.
