Caller Tunes are snippets of music or sounds, accompanied by the usual ring that your callers hear while they wait for you to answer.

Caller Tunes are a great way to personalise your phone and are compatible with all handsets.


How to activate or deactivate it

You can load up to ten (10) Caller Tunes through one of the following ways:


  • By SMS
    SMS Load+the Caller Tune code to 156, e.g. SMS "load5050061" to get the Caller Tune "Stagalash" by Vee. Please note that there is no space between the keyword (load) and the Caller Tune code.
  • By calling
    Call 156 and follow the voice prompts
    Costs of Caller Tunes by calling
    P0.50 per minute
    P2.00 for loading each Caller Tune
  • By loading a Caller Tune for specific callers
    You can now download your favourite Caller Tune for specific callers. To load a Caller Tune for a friend or family member, SMS "sps+caller tune code+space+caller number" to 156

Eg SMS "sps5050042 72000000" to 156 to load the Caller Tune "Metlholo" by Scar for caller number 72000000

You can cancel the renewal by sending an SMS. To cancel the renewal SMS: del + Caller Tune Code to 156.
