Roaming is a GSM service that allows you to use their mobile phones outside the country where there is a GSM network and where Orange has a Roaming Agreement. This is a very convenient way of staying in contact as you do not need to change your mobile number. You will receive telephone calls just as if like you were in Botswana. Your bill will be paid in Botswana in Pula.

The list of available destinations is growing every day. Be sure to call our customer care service on 123 to check if your destination is available before you travel.

To get started


  • For Post-paid customer, make sure roaming service is activated.
  • Call our Customer Care Service on 123 to find out if roaming service is available in the country you are travelling to.
  • Make sure your mobile will work in the country you're travelling to.
  • Make sure the numbers in your phone book are in international dialing format e.g. +267 72x xxx xx for a Botswana Orange number.
  • Remember to pack your charger and travel adaptor


Cost

While roaming, you will be charged for both incoming and outgoing calls. These rates vary for each destination country and for each mobile operator where we have more than one Roaming agreement in a country.

Our Roaming coverage is continuously expanding and it is important for customers to get in touch with us to confirm whether Roaming is available at their country of destination and the applicable Roaming rates.
