Orange Botswana is in the process of kick starting a corporate social responsibility program Which will focus on the same areas of need as the other foundation philanthropy work of various affiliates world wide. At the current moment the legal organization has initiated investigations into the structure and set up of non profit private entities such as foundation, churches. It may seem as some entities were formed under false pretence and abused as this status enables many of these entities and organizations to be entitled to tax waivers etc.
This milestone has not dampened our spirit as we are continuously looking at various ways to continue focusing on how to assist our general public and immediate communities with elements of education/literacy, health/disability, culture/music.
In the not so distant future the Orange team will unveil a strategy and roadmap that will guide the internal functions of the Orange Foundation, an arm that can nurture the community and fulfill the needs of Botswana.
